February 16-17, 2006
CDL IuE ASC

The aim of the meeting is to gather competences in semiconductor device and circuit simulation emanating from long-time experience in

  • Electrical Engineering
  • Mathematical Physics
  • Numerical Analysis
  • Scientific Computing

As such, the meeting is explicitly intended to be an interdisciplinary forum to promote scientific discussion on state-of-the-art problems, techniques and models. It aims at bringing together a limited number of participants who share a common interest in these topics. The informal nature of the workshop will provide an opportunity for close interaction and profitable discussion.

The meeting will consist of roughly 20 invited presentations given by distinguished researchers in the above fields. There will be plenty of time for discussions either during the breaks or right after the talks. This should provide the occasion for questions and discussions concerning the contents of each talk and should allow for closer interaction among the participants than normally possible at larger conferences.

Although presentations will be given solely by invited speakers, participation at the conference is open to the public. No conference fee is requested, however, for organizational reasons and to ensure optimal communication between conference participants (coffee breaks, badges, participant list, information emails) we encourage you to register for the conference before the 27th of January 2006. To register now, please click here.

SEMIC '05 was organized by the MOX group (Modeling and Scientific Computing) at the Politecnico di Milano.
